Tidal Rhythms - Poem by Pete Crowther

River
Humber’s
tidal

waters
ebbing,
flowing,

daily
lap the
shoreline,

rising,
falling
like a

sleeping
living
creature’s

gentle
steady
breathing

never
ever
ceasing.
