Tides Poem by Tsani Jones

Tides

You are the wine of pomegranates,
My Love,
The diamond's twinkle
Just before starlight-

Let your juice run down
Slowly, sweetly,
From a circular seed
In hearts' dementia...

I want to touch you,
Take you down where
Its soft and cool
And taste you again.

To look deep in your eyes
Is to find a quiet salvation,
And to watch you as you watch me
Is to be truly lost.

Can the climate of a
Beautiful girl's heart change?
I would not
Pretend to know.

So I sit here on your soul's shore
With a finger to the air,
Hoping for a shift in the breeze,
Waiting for the answer on the water.

So beautiful... so full of want and desire... so full of passion
