Wasabi and Sancho were two
Asian river otters who came
Together at Lincoln Park Zoo,
And over many years held claim
To cutest couple to be seen.
Close together wherever at -
Both in the water submarine,
Or in their nap time habitat.
A true love story shared with all
Who took a moment to stop by
To see the otters, hear them call,
Heartwarming both to ear and eye.

Sancho's lifetime came to an end,
And Wasabi lost her best friend.
