Till Then Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Till Then

I stand
On the terrace
Of tall building
To touch You
You are so high
I cannot reach you.

I wanted to cross
The flowing river
To come to You
River is swollen
I stay back
Where I am.

I wished to climb
The mountain
To meet You
My body's worn out
Can't undertake
The climb.

I just resolved
To see You sometime
Till then
I will keep
Chanting Your name
Staying here.
