Time Poem by Richard D Remler

Time

...........

It hasn't been such a long time
Even though a few hairs are gray hairs.

Even though the kids are in College,
And it seems as if nobody else cares.

The years have been quite a blessing,
And some have even been kind.

I see things through eyes so much older,
Though it hasn't been such a long time.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
"Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't
own it, but you can use it. You can't keep
it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it
you can never get it back."
