Time Expiring Writing Pages Of Life Poem by Terence George Craddock

Time Expiring Writing Pages Of Life

time changes us
time rearranges us
time reconstructs us

we are not the same person
we are not the same personalities
we have not the same abilities

baby sitting crawling
toddler standing falling walking
child teenager running

we are growing into words speech
we are growing into recognizing our world
we are growing into adaptive spaces

family friends foe expectations
desires need net explorations
society imposes rules limitations

there was a time
when I was young
had I met you

I would
have been
shy timid

afraid to love afraid
of feeling being hurt
afraid to risk to love

discarded too much pain
had been past life written
into too many pages of life
