Time Has Come For The Change! Poem by Pranayee Rachamalla

When everybody feel their country as their Mother,
When people turn selfish - little more selfish,
that their family is large- the whole country,
when every boy think that all the girls,
are his sisters and boys are his siblings,
I don't think there will be any problem in India,
When every girl think that her calibre and capacity,
her power and her ability can do something for her country
and when everyone think that they are born for their country,
then i don't think there will be any deficiency in our country;
when people value each other,
when people do not divide themselves
on the basis of caste, status and some other nonsense;
then i don't think India will have any problem.
When we all have same blood colour,
then why do colour of their behaviour and attitude differ?
when everyone think in this way,
when my siblings - Indians have freedom to say,
For this reason, when they rise up each day,
Because our country has given us a lot and in this way we can repay,
then our mother India, feels proud and elated,
that all her children are sensible and united!
When people born to a mother are siblings,
then why can't people born in a same country become siblings?
it is our duty to make her feel proud of her children
these are the things that can change India's status and position.
