Time Has Its Sadnesses Poem by Shalom Freedman

Time Has Its Sadnesses

Time has its Sadnesses
Life has its sadnesses
Sadnesses and more sadnesses
So many sadnesses
And the older one grows
The more they pile up
Mountains and mountains of them
And all on one soul
That cannot hide
And tries to go on the end
And not
be crushed by them.
