Time Has Been Wasted Again Poem by Shalom Freedman

Time Has Been Wasted Again

Time has been wasted again
I always waste time
I have wasted time all my life
But then again perhaps all my life
Is a waste of time
On the other hand
I don’t waste time
I just live my life
Sometimes I do things that work
Sometimes I help people
I sometimes I really seem to focus on what I do
Sometimes I seem to not be wasting time
I waste time and I don’t waste time
Some people probably think all I write
Is a waste of time
Perhaps it is
It certainly has never made money
Yes perhaps what I most love to do
Is a waste of time
And writing this small poem
Is just another small instance of wasting time
But perhaps it isn’t either-
