Time Is A Coward
time is a cowardly thief
it creeps around
pick-pocketing the moments
and fly speck seconds
that make up a lifetime.
we beg for time to pass
courting only the future
and then mourn our loss
such fickle creatures are we
but as they say, time waits for no man.
