Time Is Blood Pressure Poem by Richard Jarboe

Time Is Blood Pressure

Time is blood pressure once you brain has bled,
That's why I'm tangled in sheets with blankets over my head,
Brains tell you who you are; brains tell you what you do,
One clot in a brain and you'll wonder who the hell are you?

Your liver doesn't care what you drink; your brain does.
Your eye balls don't care what you see; your brain does.
Your bowls don't care if the sun comes up; your brain does.
But throw in a clot, you got nothing but fuzz.

Rich brainy guys want to blast off to space,
For some reason they think outer space is like the Bahamas,
Their brains make them think they're smart,
But think about it, if you still have a brain,
Brains were never known to have heart.
