Time Is The Essence Poem by Kathryn Brookins

Time is the essence for all things we go through.
We may have a lot of heaviness, or just a few,
but time can heal all, as we have learned...
In times of being loved, or burned.

Time is all we need to have faith in when things go wrong.
We can dwell on the situation with the help of a certain song.
But why bother? I mean really....
Nothing matters that much to me.
We all heal for the inside, out..
so why not let it go without any doubt?
Time is the essence...
That we can all relate to.
So I choose to lift up my chin and keep pushing through.
Life is too short, to see it any other way...
Tomorrow is always brighter than today.
Time is the minute and the hours that pass by,
healing us all. Those that are out going, and those that are shy.
Time is busy.. if I do say so myself,
So get out and enjoy life, rather then sit on that old dusty shelf!
