It's not hard
to tell why
we are not
together forever.

It's not hard
to tell why
we missed
window welcome.


I gave you
all of my heart.
I gave you
all of my time.

You gave me
a few hours a week.
You gave me
weed dregs of time.

It's all
down time.
It's all
grind time.


The danger
when giving
all your heart
recklessly away.

There is nothing
void left cut
to flesh beat out
down time.
