Timeless Poets Proclaim Literary Legacies Poem by Terence George Craddock

Timeless Poets Proclaim Literary Legacies

Rating: 4.5

'I'm a poet' claim it proclaim it
three words that seem to speak volumes
a poet may write wisdom ageless

the poet writes
stray readers may read
word passing lines

only those who listen will learn
only those who speak will communicate
a good heart offers wise council

the deaf blind heartless ruthless do not hear
these may offer choice chilling heart lessons
sunlight dances in hope darkness hides pitfalls
