Tip My Soul Out Of Its Boat Poem by Mark Heathcote

Tip My Soul Out Of Its Boat

Tip my soul out of its boat
I feel I'm about to float.
I think I'm about to float.
Without this skiff
Without this boat
And fall into your hands
And cross these waters these sands

Tip my soul out of its boat
I'm now in control
Of the pounding in my heart
Living on the edge
Tip me out; I'm about to float.
I'm about to float away.
Into your palms tonight.

Tip my soul out of its boat
Because I'm now about to meet my destiny.
But not quite right now.
But not quite right now.
But soon, don't you know,
But soon, don't you know,
But very soon, don't you know.

~

When I sail into this timeless fabric of love
Pick me up, put me down.
Spin me around.
I am about to drown.
