Tom this is a lovely calming piece.....your words paint such a lovely picture..these words stick out most to me...Frost spread its bony hands, Its print of bones outside, ......it was all beautiful but these words drew me right in.... Annette
My first holidays abroad were in the Tirol and I've never forgotten those Fairy tale villages of Mutters (meaning Mothers) and Natters (meaning Grandmothers) . They were about four miles from Innsbruck but a few thousand feet higher. Once it snowed in September!

thank you, Bharati. It was the sounds of the cow bells and the little train's whistle I remember in the clear morning air and the unexpected snowfall and the beautiful, fairy tale Austrian Villages, It was like waking up in Wonderland! Loved the Austrian food too. Those bread rolls with Apricot jam, Wiener Schnitchel and Apfel Strudel. If I could wave a magic wand and transport the Tirol close to the Sea I'd live there!
