To Be Cheerful/In Old Age Poem by Shalom Freedman

To Be Cheerful/In Old Age

Rating: 5.0

To be cheerful
In old age
To have a smile
And a good word
To give to others the feeling
That is good to see them
A pleasure to be with them
To spread joy
Whenever possible
And to sense and understand too
When it is unwise and insensitive to do so.

Old age treasure of everything (sour, pungent, sweet, bitter of whole life, happy, sorrow, grief, hope, hopelessness of whole life) everything easily can dig out from this treasure but the old age only take the happy, the sweet, the hope for next cheerful living!
