To Bring Peace Among Us Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

To Bring Peace Among Us

I really do not believe it and,
I still do not understsnd it!
But i only have to accept it;
To bring peace among us.

I am not yours but,
You came and plucked my apples;
And now, i am bleeding all over,
However, i have to accept the present situation.

Take a drive and find your true lover!
For, i am not yours;
But, to bring peace among us,
I have to accept the present situation at hand.

Spell my name and plunge into the sea of love!
Like the muse of the sharers of grain in the rain; ;
But, your sheaf rose and stood upright,
As you came long and pluck my apples.
