To Class Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

To Class

To class

Was no less than the day
-Paluchi on stage
-audience, plenty
-around five hundred

He went left and to right
-pictures, words on the wall

Explained root and base
-of words like
- "Trivia" and "Haggard"

Words to him were like a
-child born and in blood

And he was the midwife
-or first nurse to have touched

Entering the class
- "My name is…"
-and "I am…"
-made me born
-as a word
-or a child…
-to class
