To Eat The Muse Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

To Eat The Muse

Conservationist verses commercial interests,
Stay out of the wet and learn the truth;
Of the rich and the poor,
Every rich person should provide for the poor.
Life is like that and the poor will always be with us,
And you should always know the angles before you shoot;
Like the lack of trust to be in a safe bath.

How could have known that?
For it is not easy when,
Somebody steps on your toes and you will be thankful;
Since, there are numerous and difficult problems around us.
Oh, how romantically that it was when,
We first came into this world;
But now, we are very sad to know all about earth's own problems.
Plenty of the tasks and the acts,
Plenty of tax bargaining too!
But to eat the muse to writ our feet is like,
The hot gas and the steam from the red zone.

Never be ashame of your emotions,
And never be ashame of your talents;
Like those days in June on a mother's love.
To eat the muse to writ your feet,
Like the days in July on a father's love;
But, we should be very mindful on what we do or say.
