To Hope And To Dream Poem by Francis Duggan

To Hope And To Dream

To hope and to dream it is never a sin
And I hope and dream that one day I will win
A first division lotto with which I could do
A million dollars in money or preferably two
I do live in hope of becoming a millionaire
And better to live that way than on living on the brink of despair
Of any hope for the future allow us to dream
Without hope in our lives we would feel lost 'twould seem
Though we follow the pathway of our destiny
We must accept our life's crosses though heavy they seem to be
Tomorrow with joy you may whistle and sing
For tomorrow great tidings to you well may bring
Forget about yesterday since yesterday has gone
And life is for living and we will live on.
