To Know The Man Poem by Chris Embrick

To Know The Man

To know the man ask but his wife
Who kept his bed, endured his friends
A man of peace, a man of strife
To know the man ask but his wife
Between birth and death, days of life
The tally counted at the end
To know the man, ask but his wife
Who kept his bed, endured his friends.
