To Lonely Days (Of Winter) Poem by Peter S. Quinn

To Lonely Days (Of Winter)

Rating: 5.0

Blossoms blue and white
of days and summers gone,
like dreams in the night
for wintertime carries on.

In blistering dark and cold
where gleaming stars play,
and routs of winter unfold
in shadows of many way.

Oh memories now spark
and give its pleasures on,
in riming deep and dark
on to its changeless yon.

Dreams are now so near
in fantasies and dances,
its January in the new year
with dim and its trances.

Oh dreams of deep night
your fantasies now play,
and gives its ferries flight
that come now in to stay.

How much timeless is dark
with dreams that dance,
like flames in winter spark
of days in dark and trance.
