To Love You From Places Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

To Love You From Places

To Love You From Places

To love you from places,
We learn from the thighs and flowers,

Whichever a tongue taste,
The bitter glories of undefined fruits,

We hear the sounds of the inhuman waves,
The minature cries and purrs,

As life tithers in great distances,
And describe a dialect,

Such wild places we dream the songs,
Forever into the clutch of destiny,

We pine and pine in the never believing world,
Until we reach a shore,

Until dreams are made,
Until reality calls your name.

And a white flag is hoisted.
From an embattled sea,
