To Mama (2) Poem by Weldon Davis

To Mama (2)

Rating: 5.0

You brought me into this world
Kept me safe from harm
I've never known such comfort
As when I was in your arms
(Mama)

The first woman I ever loved
Your patience and guidance instilled in me
(Mama)

I've grown older now
And we talk less than we should
I apologize for that now
And if I could
(Mama)

I'd be a better man
I know I need to try to be
And no matter how busy
I may seem
You can always confide in me
(Mama)

Cause you brought me into this world
Kept me safe from harm
Showed me what real love was
When you held me in your arms
(Mama)

I love you

Oh, what a touching, beautiful poem that every mother should read. Beautiful, just beautiful, How proud your mother must be.

Thank you for your comment about my poem...Mom is such a easy muse to write about because I do love her deeply, and she's always been there for me...Yeah she is very proud of me...Thanks again :)
