She could never do anything else than love me
I wonder if I'll ever find
A love like hers in time

Mama's love unconditional
Unrehearsed to listen to her laughter
Is like a cleansing of the soul to me

Her patience and understanding
Allowing her son to be
Everything he ever dreamed of
Even if those dreams are no where near hers

Her acceptance is returned
With love and gratitude
There is just no way to convey
How much I love you
