To Me You Are The Most Beautiful Woman - Poem by Gert Strydom
How can I catch in a single poem
the scenery that I see in your eyes,
the light that radiates in them,
the starry look that they radiate?
To me you are the most beautiful woman
and even if I could fold my arms
a thousand times around you,
words cannot really hold you.
How do a person describe
a heart that is open for the world
and wants to stop the pain
of all of humans?
Still I thank God
that you do love me.
