To My Friend Poem by In Need Of Some Guidance
To My Friend
You'd think I'd be used to everyone leaving,
Which I am.
But it still hurts.
You'd think I'd expect you to do the same,
but I didn't.
You were my friend,
or so I thought.
I looked at you as someone I trusted, completely, which I rarely do.
I shared my secrets with you,
even when it was hard to tell the truth,
I never lied to you,
whatever you asked,
you had an honest answer.
Then all of a sudden it wasn't what you wanted to hear.
Saying that the open truth could lead to teh end.
You were like the rest.
Left without saying what it was...
I don't understand...
You allways knew what to say, but now your making no sense.
Since it's been a while
you'd think that I've healed,
but I haven't(completely)
I miss your questions,
which you'd never shy to ask,
I miss your encouragment,
and you inspiring me to try harder.
I miss your sarcasm
which allways made me laugh.
Bottom line is, I miss you,
my best friend, in the past.
