''Rhyme and reason empty nests''..............THIS LINE CATCH MY FANCY, REALLY A CREATIVE EPITHET, AND THE MEANING OF THE POEM IS EXCELLENT''YOU GRIP BUT SLIP INTO THE STREAM'' THE OBLIQUE WAY OF SAYING THINGS WHICH IS THE CHARACTERISTIC OF MODERN POETRY.

There is so much in this, adoration, worry, caring, hope and a sense of loss that we all feel as our fledglings fly the nest... I once heard (we don't have our babies, we just borrow them) a hard one to wrap my head around when they were little and (adorably, needy) but I always revered that... That is not a lecture to you, of any kind, just an explaination of how I deal with it.. I hope I read this right... Karen.
