To The Love Of My Life - Poem by Osvaldo Govea

My love for you is never ending,
And ever so true.
I will always remember the day I fell in love with you.
It was the first day I felt butterflies inside,
And the day that I ever saw an angel for the first time.
Your beauty captured my eyes,
And your smile captured my heart.
That day I knew something beautiful between us would start.
This is to the love of my life,
You showed me love and happiness,
And ended my loneliness.
I Love You.

The reader can not fully understand how you feel when you are writing but with your poetry I think they can. I for one do. (Report) Reply

I liked the clean uncomplicated exprressions you used. I feel it is the way to write poetry. If u are interested please read some of my poems on love, beauty. I am sure u like them. We are at same wave length (Report) Reply

I gave this a 7 because it was a rather loosely organized verse. The structure could have been a bit better. The theme was clear and so was the communication, but the music never played.
