To The Rain Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

To The Rain

The big frogs they cried aloud
For a better rainy season to bless
Their life depended on water
Their food depended upon the stagnated ponds
Bless the frogs by the rain god
That somewhere missing nowadays
The clouds comes and goes without showers
The poor frogs are frightened for life
The ponds and wells are almost empty
The humans plight to get a pot of water
The days are ahead when wars will be there
For the drinking water to the human beings
May it doesn't happen we can pray
The rains are expected to come as usual.

Yeah, you are right. If we won't conserve water from now on there will be war on it. Let us hope monsoon will be good this year too. Nice poem.
