To The Young Adventurer Poem by Haruna Garba

To The Young Adventurer

Rating: 5.0

Here is the pool
dangled before the novice fool
and pressed by pride,
in he will plunge

Here is the flourishing flame
mustered before the Moth,
lured by love,
in crazily he will dive

Here is honey
the boneless, smiling snack
naked nectar but napalm
wax for fly to wallow:
mollycoddle needs his bath

My Diver Boy!
You need to think twice
anytime you feel like taking a leap
for once you are there,
there is no out
come rain, come sun
stuck you remain, the way it is
