To Trap Unsuspecting Flies Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

To Trap Unsuspecting Flies

People only listen,
When their ears are prepared to hear.
And their minds are ready to receive,
Useful and needed information...
Without interfering with misinformed signals.

Prior to that...
Their mouths are open,
For the most part...
To eat on treats and to trap,
Unsuspecting flies!

And lies?
Well...
There is a process called maturity,
That eliminates the encouragement...
For them to be told with innocent eyes.
