To Tv Moguls

Whatever heaven free of serendipity you want
by pushing man to program for himself,
if you gradually increase the number of nights
when there's nothing on to watch,
you are running the risk
that what else there is to do
when the number of nights is 2
will be to do at 4
and that, with the finishing line in sight,
even the prospect of that
won't raise a fright.

No, moguls,
put nothing on right! now! for 7
for the best chance
of a serendipity-free heaven.
