To You, For Her Poem by Rhiley Anne Vincent

To You, For Her

You lied to me
Right in my face
Pretended to be someone else
You’re a total disgrace

You said you are the good guy
But you’re actually a jerk
Because you’re getting my friend
To do your dirty work

You look down at those
Know as players
Yet you're one of them
- Under all those layers

You will take a girls heart n your hand
And without thinking, close them into fists
I wonder if those girls names
Are written down in lists

I bet you hardly speak about her
Its all you, you, you
How about giving the girl you dating
A little thought or two?

You said you don't care what people think
but now that I strongly doubt
Because, to be honest
It seems that's al you care about

As long as you stay popular
As long as you stay cool
To you it doesn't matter what it takes
As long as, over them, you rule

But now I've had enough
You've taken it to far
It's your turn to grovel in dirt
While we lounge on that star
