Today's Young Lovers Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Today's Young Lovers

They met in the valley
They sang and danced
They ran to the stream
They kissed and hugged

They plucked flowers
And gifted each other
They looked at the sun
Burning red in the west

They smiled at the birds
Flipping wings at them
They washed finger tips
With cool drops of dew

They feel like at home
In the lap of the meadow
The lovers are not willing
To follow parents shadows
