Today... 'The Firstborn Among Many Brothers' Poem by Roy Allen

Today... 'The Firstborn Among Many Brothers'

Christ is the Firstborn of the new creation
and He is the Author of our salvation.
We know that in all things God works for the good
of those that are called according to His word.

Now all predestined to be conformed are we
and in the likeness of God's Son we shall be.
Called in Christ Jesus we have all been justified
and by God's grace we will all be glorified.

Romans 8: 28-30
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

The Bible calls You by many names
each one giving a glimpse of Your glory.
Like a cut diamond radiating in the sun
with every facet depicting an aspect
of Your Divine Nature.
Today I have thought of You as
'The firstborn among many brothers'
