Tommys Poem Poem by cheryl davis miller

Tommys Poem

Cabin’s and green apples,
Castor oil and fun.
Tadpoles and snake doctors
flying in the sun.

Root the peg and marbles
contraptions of all kinds.
All the games of childhood
sometimes flood my mind.

Tho the years have come and gone
Brother I must say,
'the times we shared together
were the very best of days.'

So many miles are between us
yet we're really not apart.
Cause now as always, Tommy
you are always in my heart.
