Tonight Poem by Rokket Grrl

Everything's so eerie in this cold black night
With the sky's dark and the moon bright
My door blows open in a cool breeze
And it makes my stomach turn and gives me weak knees
I toss and turn in my bed as the shadows crawl
Across my windows and up the wall
They surround me with a creepy sight
That gets creepier all through the night
And I lay in my bed hoping to see
You coming back and protecting me
But the breeze keeps rolling and the door is open
And all through this dreadful night my heart stays broken
