Tonight Poem by Joana Marie Ferry

Tonight

Rating: 5.0

The darkness fills the air tonight
and some of the people are out of sight,
Walking outside the doorsteps is a challenge
for me and my countrymen to change.

Just outside my door is a tall wise man,
He gave me cookies and some words of wisdom.
Stories from far flang area he uttered,
and told me that it ain't gonna change forever.

Tonight, I have a new visitor, she is powerful,
extravagant and active in things that can't reach heaven,
As kindly as it is to approach her,
She weakens me to death using her power.

Tonight, another visitor come in the way,
He is a man, as powerful as it say,
He wears a floating red towel as they say,
but for me, he is wonderful in every way.

Another visitor tonight as we whisper,
She is a villain, no words can fear her,
She is the sister of envy and the wife of jealousy,
As quiet as possible in approaching her fearlessly.

Last visitor tonight is hopeless,
But as soon as the darkness fills the air completely,
As happy as a duck, I have been accompanied by these people tonight,
Now I am completely filling the darkness tonight with an unlimited light.
