Touch My Memory - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Touch my memory

Just touch my memory
Shake it will saying sorry
As you were not present
To tell me the things very sweet

I was nowhere
Near or far
As you had turned down
Offer of my own love

How could I see good world?
When you were ideally sold
To someone else
Making me so tense

I had desire to be
With you and feel free
But you had locked
As if to have joked with slap

I feel no regret
As it is simple fate
It makes no difference
But heart is disturbed and remains tense

I mean it wider sense
Love is no nonsense
It has power to pull
An make you happy and cheerful
