Touching Sounds Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Touching Sounds

The blue bird sings a song I dream
My heart can hear from what I see

The wind blows gentle by my ears
A sound I love that no one hears

The brook near by moves slow but sure
With rainfall rise can make a roar

The trees they wave with friendly arms
When nature sings with all her charm

All I see I can adore
The noise that battles in the storm

No sound too loud or one not liked
Even the dogs that bark at night

My sleep not bothered by anything
Not a lovers whisper can wake my dreams

Been like this most of my life
No sound I hear but with my sight
