Towards The Hatch Poem by RIC BASTASA

Towards The Hatch

veils are those days
mists at dawn
foggy afternoons
soft white blankets
at night on the
mountains far from
the city lights

eggshell as white as
as the purity of fear
on an albumin protection
the yellow moon slowly
grows
