toy piano reveries keep plinking with
their colour coded keys
and I feel happy colouring the day
rose red or a deep moss green
all the lilies in my dream
tied with purple ribbons
on display
God conjures up a cinnamon breeze
and I feel happy as the leaves
I miss the old mimosa trees
In feathery pink and yellow from lost Junes
I'll get my toy pianos back in tune
and plink away
thank God that childhood memories seldom stray
lets keep them in from school today
and feed them just clear consume with raisin toast
and fairytales
