Trapped Poem by Hopeless Heart

Trapped

She sits alone
Tears rolling down her face,
While she thinks of home
And how it use to be filled with grace

The joy she use to feel,
The games she use to play,
The fun she use to have
But now that has all gone away

For now there is no joy,
Only pain
There is no fun to be had,
Only blame

It is no longer a home,
No longer safe,
As she sits there alone
Surrounded by wraiths

But she cannot leave
For they will not let her,
A chain you cannot see
Made of everything they were

They are the only things keeping her there,
For there is no love left in that house
All there is, is mountains of fear
Of which she can’t escape
