Trapped Poem by Ellie Watts

Trapped

I'm trapped in this hole.
I dug and stuck myself in.
Trying, trying to crawl out, I shout.
My finger scrape the sides,
begging for a hand.
I'm sinking in, deeper and deeper.
Stuck in this quicksand.
I'm trapped in this hole.
So dark and deep.
This is a secret I can no longer keep.
This is now my home in which i seep
now so low.
I may soon be gone forever.
To a place I hoped, and wished,
I would never go...
