Trees(Let The Leaves Fall Where They May) Poem by Twisted Moon

Trees(Let The Leaves Fall Where They May)

Rating: 5.0

The trees embrace the day,
They let the sunshine take the pain away,
They let their leaves fall where they may,
They get along okay,
These trees are here to stay,
Why can't we be this way?

The trees do just fine,
Never hoping for anything but the sunshine,
But you have your plans and I have mine,
We follow this imaginary line,
While the redwoods, the fruit trees, the willows, the pine,
All let their branches intertwine.

The trees are as simple as can be,
Which is why they make sense, even to me,
Never thinking or planning, they are just free,
They can let themselves be happy,
Don't you see this is the key?
This is exactly how we should be.

Living day by day,
Let's let the leaves fall where they may.
