Two-Face Poem by Twisted Moon

Two-Face

Rating: 5.0

I am a two-face, showing both of you the wrong side,
If only I could flip these faces, maybe that would turn the tide,
But we all know I'm a scared little b***** you would rather run and hide,
This would be easier for all of us if I just went off and died.

Just look at what I've done to you,
Every poem that you write so sad yet so true,
You speak of suicide as if it is something you long to do,
You speak of your senses and your world as if they do nothing but hurt you,
You've forgotten that everyone loves you.

And you can thank my heart of stone,
For making you feel so alone,
All of these problems were caused by me,
You would be so much better off without me.

And yet I long to make you happy,
But only you can set yourself free,
I can only serve as a mild distraction,
And there is nothing I can do to change my previous actions,
To pick up the pieces of your broken heart and repair its fractions.

I know in my heart, that you truly are my best friend,
But I wouldn't blame you if you made it end,
I've betrayed my every virtue,
A best friend isn't supposed to hurt you.
