Trees Shall Grow - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Trees shall grow

Needless to say
We got to hold sway
Over nature's expansion
Inside deep forests

There lies our future
Future for our future
For generations
And bringing up good plantations

Not only country shall prosper
But offer
Opportunity for employment
And help to supplement food stock

The poor shall accept
And remain apt
For work in fields
If theory is held

Let us protect environment
And expand drive for plants
Trees shall grow
And fruits shall be allowed
