Trembling Poem by Rachel The Hair Guru

Trembling

This poem was written as therapy for me. I suffer from MS and often get tremors due to my illness. This poem expresses my feelings when those tremors come on.

A little twinge to start it off
A warning of whats to come
A ripple in my ocean of life
A steady flow of quaking stirs from within
Deep breaths,
trying too control it
Mustering all I have
inhale, exhale,
in, out
The wave is upon me
My head starts to shake
My heart sinking...
not again
Riding it out,
up and down
Like waves crashing
I close my eyes
fighting the tears
Soon it will pass
I am thankful for that
A little reality check
Gods way
of shaking things up
Reminding me
Be thankful
Enjoy life
Appreciate
the calm before the storm.
